Maintenance Assistant – Central Office; Three Positions

Duties Description ?The Office of Mental Health (OMH) is recruiting to fill multiple Maintenance Assistant positions. These are temporary/hourly positions in the Bureau of Environmental Design and Improvement located in the Western New York region. Under the general direction of the Maintenance Supervisor 1 and Maintenance Supervisor 3, Maintenance Assistants will travel to various facilities to perform special project renovations, ongoing maintenance, small repair and environmental projects in one of five regions. The Western New York region includes Buffalo, Elmira, Rochester, West Seneca and Binghamton. Specific duties to be performed may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance, repair, installation, and construction tasks in one or more of the trades including carpentry, painting, minor electrical, masonry/tilework, and flooring.
