Job Description
Gain hands-on experience as a Maintenance Engineering Co-op with IG Machine & Fibers Ltd. in Brampton, Ontario. Collaborate with experts and contribute to impactful capital projects during your contract.
This 8 or 12-month co-op role supports the Plant Maintenance team in maintaining quality roofing products. By shadowing Millwrights and Electricians, you will create standard operating procedures and assist in reviewing maintenance activities. The position encourages direct involvement in project management, tendering, and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Plant Maintenance team and project execution
• Create maintenance SOPs and standardized PM templates
• Conduct spare parts optimization for critical assets
• Assist with drawings and modeling for project setups
