Maintenance & Handypersons - Randstad

Randstad are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to support production at a waste management site in Dandenong South.
Immediate start! 12 hour shifts and nightshift required. Pay over $50 per hour.
7am-3pm ordinary shift time however when production is running hours will be 6am-6pm one week and 6pm-6am the next week (nighshift penalty rates apply).

The role:

• Undertake general plant assembly, disassembly and maintenance work associated with the thermal and soil washing plant.

• Continuous monitoring of the plant during operations and communicate any observed issues to the Control Room Operator.

• Provide relief for the Control Room Operator.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and ensure good housekeeping practices.

• Monitoring of process equipment condition, including conveyor belt tracking, and bearing condition and administer scheduled bearing lubrication.
