Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead by example in adhering to Health & Safety procedures, holding all staff and contractors accountable to high safety and compliance standards.
- Identify and assess equipment and site hazards, implementing and maintaining effective risk controls and safe operating procedures to ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely.
- Provide technical advice to winery teams on managing engineering-related hazards and appropriate control options.
- Implement & maintain the Safety Permit to Work (PTW) system for all contractor work on site.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the Maintenance team to build capability, support ongoing development, and foster a high-performance culture.
- Conduct regular conversations with team members, ensuring they are clear on their performance and development goals and helping them to undertake their roles effectively.
