Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor

Summary The position is located at the Salem VA Health Care System within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 6) in Salem, VA. Incumbent supervises the Planned Maintenance and Projects Maintenance shop of the Maintenance & Operations Section, Facilities Management Service. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Managing, supervising, planning, overseeing and training of the Planned Maintenance and Projects Maintenance shop personnel. Determining labor and material costs for maintenance and repairs, minor improvements, maintenance contracts, and alterations. Furnishing advice and recommendations to services requesting work.
