Maintenance Mechanic

Summary This position is located in the Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic, Fleet and Family Readiness Support Services Office, Facilities department. The purpose of this position is to assist with facilities maintenance work. The incumbent performs intermediate level tasks and works more independently as training and experience increase. Responsibilities MAJOR DUTIES The incumbent is responsible for a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled tasks involved standard methods related to the operation and maintenance of facilities. Performing work in at least two of the following trades requiring a higher level of skill than the NA-4749-07 in the maintenance and repair of buildings and related fixtures or having significant emphasis in one of the higher-level licensed trades: Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Colling or Plumbing.
