Maintenance Mechanic

Summary This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Superintendent Senate Office Buildings, Assistant Superintendent Facilities Operations Division, Maintenance Branch, A/C Evening or Night Section and performs journey-level Maintenance Mechanic duties in electrical, plumbing and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC). Responsibilities This is an Essential-Employee Position. The employee will be required to report to work during emergencies AND inclement weather situations. Work schedule may require some occasionally mandatory overtime on holidays AND weekends. The individual selected for this position will: HVAC: Performs maintenance inspections, installations and necessary repairs to various equipment including refrigeration, commercial kitchen appliances and HVAC.
