Maintenance | Plant Utility | 1st shift
Position Overview
The Plant Utility role supports multiple departments by performing combustible dust cleaning, removing trash and running the compactor, operating a scrubber, and completing other safety and housekeeping tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Vacuum overhead pipes, support beams, and other elevated areas with dust accumulation that cannot be reached from floor level.
+ Clean tops of electrical cabinets, production equipment, and other elevated surfaces with dust accumulation reachable from floor level.
+ Perform combustible dust cleaning of upper areas throughout the facility, including overhead pipes, support beams, equipment, ceilings, and similar surfaces.
+ Operate a vacuum cleaner and attachments.
+ Operate a scissor lift and scrubber safely and proficiently.
