Job Description
The Maintenance Engineer monitors and coordinates daily maintenance activities, provides technical / engineering support to maintenance groups as needed, striving to continually identify and implement means of predicting and preventing equipment failures, and provides assistance and support to the Maintenance Manager to achieve overall departmental and corporate goals. This is a salaried exempt position and serves as backup for the Maintenance/Engineering Manager in their absence.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Requires a bachelor degree (preferably in civil or mechanical engineering) and entry level experience with co-op experience during college at a
- Chemical facility or one to two+ years’ experience in a petrochemical and / or manufacturing environment.
