Maintenance Supervisor

Summary The position serves as the Construction Project Team Supervisor to the Chief, Engineering Service, and is responsible for the overall station level Atlanta VA Medical Center's In-House Construction Program. This includes support to the engineers/technicians and supervisors in the Maintenance and Engineering Operations and Biomedical Engineering sections. Responsibilities Major Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Determines personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities needed for construction projects. Responsible for all personnel and administrative matters involving the Construction Project Team and the In-House Construction Program. Possesses authority for personnel and administrative actions and administers a variety of management programs such as training, cost reduction, suggestion awards, and quality/quantity control.
