Maintenance Technician II, Housing

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the general operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance in the residential housing facilities at UAH. The Tech II will also help with the removal and moving of furniture throughout the facilities.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Perform moderate-level skilled work in the installation, operation maintenance, modification, service, and repair of mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and structural systems.
• Monitor the performance of heating, cooling, and related systems by interpreting the energy management system alarms, temperature and pressure differentials, troubleshooting problems, and making adjustments when necessary.
• Work with PVC, CPVC, Pex piping, and copper piping up to 4” in size, paint
