About the Role

We are looking for an experienced maintenance technician to operate and maintain mechanical systems and HVAC services at Tauranga Hospital. This is a permanent, full‑time opportunity. Salary will be based on skills and experience and will fall within Steps 37 of the Group 2 pay scale. Additional allowances apply for formal on‑call duties and overtime. This role is covered by the Etū collective agreement.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Undertake basic plumbing maintenance duties and determine which plumbing tasks can or cannot be performed by non‑qualified tradesmen.
