Job Description

Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment, including motors, conveyors, and pneumatic systems
Diagnose mechanical issues by observing equipment in operation and using precision measuring tools
Troubleshoot and repair machinery using manuals, schematics, and technical specifications
Disassemble equipment to replace or repair defective components using hand and power tools
Inspect and measure parts using tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure proper fit and function
Adjust and align equipment components to maintain optimal performance
Fabricate or modify parts using machine shop equipment as needed
Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all safety regulations when servicing equipment
Perform advanced mechanical work such as shaft alignment, gear setup, and timing of complex systems
Repair and rebuild components including gearboxes, pumps, ...
