Description
Job Summary:
The MA or LPN performs various patient care activities and related services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients under the direction of the physician or mid-level provider. MA/LPN duties include (but are not limited to) obtaining basic assessment information including vital signs, EKG's, and point of care testing, advocating for patients, administering prescribed medications, preparing exam rooms, procedure room, and assisting providers. Documenting in the EMR according to TSMH policy and procedures. Each position has specific requirements with unique duties and responsibilities. See Clinic Director for specific requirements.
