Performs various breast imaging procedures with the use of ionizing and non-ionizing equipment, and may perform or assist in performing Ultrasound guided or Stereotactic breast biopsies.

Complies with ACR imaging guidelines to produce optimum radiographs.

Educates patients regarding their procedure and maintains a safe, comfortable, supportive environment for the patient throughout the exam.

Communicates educational information to patients about breast cancer risks and breast imaging information.
