Job Description
The Manager, Financial Reporting leads the preparation of the Company’s external financial reports, including consolidated financial statements and management discussion and analysis. This high profile and sensitive role ensures that the external disclosure documents are completed accurately and on time. Works closely with the external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure that the external audit is completed efficiently and with minimal issues. Develops and maintains accounting processes and identifies best practices to ensure these goals are met. A recognized IFRS subject matter expert, the Manager leads the research into accounting and reporting issues and the development of accounting policies. Liaises with internal stakeholders (IT, FP&A, Safety) and external experts (auditors, advisors, regulators) to provide leadership and strategic input on developments in Badger’s internal reporting functions and external reporting requirements.
