Manager, Legal & Compliance

Responsibilities

• Legal: in-depth knowledge and experience with securities laws, regulations and guidelines, and any other applicable law governing the regulated activities in Malaysia, including REIT and non‑REIT entities
• Draft, review, vet, and prepare contracts, legal documentation, legal correspondence, and agreements
• Advise on trademark, dispute resolution, arbitration, employment and industrial relations matters
• Liaise with solicitors or authorities regarding all legal matters
• Manage property law matters such as sale and purchase agreements, tenancy agreements, and other land‑related matters
• Handle financing and loan documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve any legal, risk and compliance issues that may arise
• Lead employee training sessions on legal issues
