**Job Summary and Qualifications**

**The Manager is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the administrative, financial and operational activities of his/her section. The manager oversees all employees within the section and is responsible to ensure that all employees within the section are competent in their jobs and maintain the skills necessary to deliver the highest level of care to the patient. The manager operates the department in accordance with the financial and operational philosophies of the Methodist Healthcare System while insuring compliance with JCAHO, Medicare, Medicaid, NRC, OSHA, ACR and Texas Department of Radiation Control standards.
