Insight Global is hiring a Manager of Expansion Planning to join a major utility provider focused on delivering electrical utilities across the state of South Carolina. This role involves designing, planning, and overseeing System Expansion Plans and Transmission Planning Assessments. If you have an Electrical Engineering background in the utility industry and are looking to take on a role leading a small team to advance the Transmission Planning capabilities in the utility space, then this role will be an exciting opportunity!
Responsibilities include:
- Manage and oversee transmission planning assessments and system expansion plans development by applying knowledge of transmission system modeling and analysis, planning criteria, NERC compliance, policy and regulation.
