Manager - Value Added Services (VAS)

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Manager - Value Added Services (VAS) to partner to lead the evolution of a scalable, multi-vertical payments ecosystem. This position is based in Dubai, UAE.

You will design and scale a plug-and-play VAS layer enabling products across Mobility (Ride-Hailing), Lending / Microfinance, Loyalty & Rewards, and Airtime & Bills to seamlessly consume payment APIs—handling high-concurrency transactions with bank-grade security and compliance.

• Own microservices-based architecture abstracting escrow, settlement & reconciliation
• Lead engineering for multiple high-growth verticals
• Ensure 99.9%+ uptime on AWS (EKS, Aurora, Redis, SQS, Lambda, Terraform)
• Drive event-driven architectures (Kafka/SQS) and AI adoption in engineering
• Lead, hire, and mentor a team of 15+ engineers
