SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established automotive manufacturer based in East London, is looking to appoint an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to drive process improvements, support new product launches, optimise manufacturing operations, and contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives within a fast-paced production environment.
POSITION INFO:
Duties: Process development (process flow chart) for new programs. Use industrial engineering methods to determine the Cycle times. Manufacture feasibility analysis (DFA/DFM) and PFMEA on new products. Plant and process layout for new products and plant launches. Perform process and quality improvements. Perform cost analysis of product and process alternatives (investments and assembly time). Write process specifications and make recommendations regarding ergonomic improvements.
