**Description:**
You will be the Manufacturing Engineering Lead (Optics Manufacturing Associate Manager) for the Optical Components Center. Our team is responsible for ultra precision machining, thin film coatings, and the production of complex optical components.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Manufacturing Engineering Lead you will direct a team of 5 10 engineers, driving best in class manufacturing practices for high performance optics.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Lead business execution by applying statistical process control, design of experiments, advanced analytics, and root‑cause analysis to continuously improve process yield, cost, and schedule.
+ Manage non‑recurring projects from concept through production, ensuring design‑for‑manufacture and automation requirements are met.
