Market Finance Controller - SAA Market

Responsibilities

• Acting as the key partner to Market Finance Director in all financial areas.
• Ensure presence of an effective control, policy compliance, verification on financial statements, balance sheet recon review.
• Ensure that an effective risk management process and a sound control environment exists in the countries and ensure compliance at all times.
• Monitor the local statutory audit and tax deadlines and ensure timely submission.
• Streamline organization structure, including entity liquidation or amalgamation.
• Monitor month end close activities including group reporting package (GRP) submission.
• Collaborate with Record to Report (R2R), Purchase to Payables (P2P) and Order to Cash (O2C) teams on operational matters or projects.
• Review, assess and enable the adoption of accounting standards such as local GAAP and International Accounting Standards.
