A Market VP of Patient Safety opportunity is available in Asheville, NC, supporting a six-hospital system that includes an 853-bed regional tertiary and quaternary care center — the region's only trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, Level III NICU, children's hospital, and a Magnet® designated facility for nursing excellence.


The role. Reporting to the Market Chief Medical Officer and leading a team of 9 FTEs, this executive-level position drives patient safety and risk management strategy across a multi-hospital market. The VP partners closely with the Market VP of Quality to advance safety culture, reduce avoidable harm through systems thinking and reliable design, and oversee the annual Patient Safety Program from design through measurable outcomes.
