Masjid cleaner / Muslim Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Maintain immaculate cleanliness of prayer halls ensuring a serene and spiritually conducive environment for worshippers
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize ablution areas (Wudu stations, restrooms, and associated facilities) paying close attention to hygiene standards
• Regularly dust and polish all surfaces, including furniture, shelves, and decorative elements, to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the Masjid
• Manage waste disposal efficiently, emptying all bins and ensuring the surrounding areas remain tidy and free from litter

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in cleaning or janitorial services is a plus
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in professional cleaning, preferably in religious or public spaces
• Familiarity with Islamic etiquette and the specific needs of maintaining a Masjid environment
