Master Electrician / Installation

The Master Electrician is responsible for performing a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy at the Great Lakes Toxicology and Ecology division-Duluth laboratory facility. Perform installation, preventative maintenance and repairs to buildings, physical plant equipment, support equipment, control systems, and utility systems. Test electrical currents or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment. Work from drawings, layouts, blueprints, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment. Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
