Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Material Change Specialists supports the Supply and Materials Management teams by analyzing, coordinating, and recommending solutions for drop‑in demand and engineering‑driven changes affecting purchased and manufactured parts. This role is a key participant in the change control process (Engineering Change Notice and Change Control Board) and ensures timely availability of parts by assessing impacts, guiding purchasing and planning teams, and driving cross‑functional alignment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Maintain and update lists of long‑lead and high‑risk supplier parts for change impact visibility
- Monitor engineering and customer change reports to assess impacts within part lead times
- Communicate approved Change Control Board (CCB) decisions and implementation timing to Supply and Materials teams
