Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 3 Maternity Support Workers (MSWs) with an NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) to join the Maternity Teams at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As one of the largest tertiary maternity units in the UK, we support approximately 8,000 births each year across a wide range of specialist services. As a Maternity Support Worker, you will work collaboratively with midwives and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and woman‑centred care. You will support women, birthing people and their families across the full maternity pathway, including antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and community settings. Working under the supervision of a registered midwife, you will contribute to high‑quality, holistic care for mothers and newborns, following appropriate training and competency sign‑off.
