Mathematics Instructional Support Specialist

Position Summary

The Mathematics Instructional Support Specialist provides instructional support for large-enrollment or multi-section courses by facilitating recitation sections, grading student work, and assisting with course assessments. This position plays a critical role in enhancing the academic experience through supplemental instruction and timely feedback. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate weekly recitation sessions that reinforce core course concepts.

The Instructional Support Specialist reports to the course lead instructor

Assist the instructor in the design, proctoring, and grading of quizzes, exams, and other assessments.

Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments in alignment with grading rubrics.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and grades.
