Role Overview

The Mid-Level Frontend Developer supports the development and enhancement of the Maryland Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (MD FAMLI) web experience. This role focuses on building accessible, responsive web components and contributing to the logged-out site and design system. The developer works collaboratively with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, user-centered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Build and maintain reusable web components that support the MD FAMLI website

· Implement UI enhancements that improve usability, performance, and accessibility

· Troubleshoot and resolve frontend defects with minimal oversight

· Apply consistent styling and contribute to scalable frontend patterns

· Develop responsive, accessible interfaces using modern HTML and CSS

· Contribute to the logged-out site built with Eleventy and Decap CMS
