Mechanical Design Engineer

SUMMARY:
A leading South African defence and manufacturing organisation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their engineering and product development team. The ideal candidate will have strong product design experience within a highly regulated manufacturing or engineering environment and must be capable of taking a product from initial concept and design phase through to final manufacturing drawings and production implementation. POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

• BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• 3 to 6 years’ experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
• Strong experience in full product design lifecycle

Experience with: o Autodesk Inventor o ANSYS o FEA (Finite Element Analysis) o MATLAB

• Experience producing manufacturing and production-ready drawings
