Mechanical Design Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong New Product Development (NPD) experience to support the design and development of innovative mechanical systems and components.The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in sheet metal, casting, and rotomolded component design using Solid Works, along with strong engineering analysis capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop mechanical components and assemblies for new product development projects.Create detailed 3 D models, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs using Solid Works.Design components involving:Sheet metalCastingsRotomolded partsPerform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure manufacturability and assembly fit.Conduct engineering calculations including:Free Body Diagram (FBD) analysisMachine design calculationsStructural and mechanical evaluationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.Support prototype builds, testing, and product vali...
