Mechanical Development Engineer - Mechanical Integration

Component Design & Development
Design, develop, and release mechanical integration components including housing, castings, stampings, bearings, fasteners, seals, plugs, harnesses, cooling, and lubrication systems to meet defined performance, durability, and cost targets.
Select appropriate materials to meet strength, durability, corrosion resistance, and thermal requirements.
Create design work orders and provide direction to CAD resources to develop product designs; review, approve, and release engineering drawings to support program requirements.
Perform engineering analysis and calculations on mechanical housing, castings, stampings, bearings, fasteners, seals & plugs, harness, cooling and lubrication components, sub-systems, and present rationale to program team.
Issue CAE requests and provide technical direction for system and component analyses to support design validation and optimization.
