Mechanical Draughtsman

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interpret work orders, sketches, and written or verbal instructions to determine project requirements.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Program and maintain current file revisions for all client parts and drawings.
• Prepare detailed standardised work instructions and setup sheets.
• Process customer drawing requirements accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise with customers to ensure drawings are correct and suitable for manufacturing purposes.
• Handle and maintain all relevant project documentation and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with various departments regarding current projects and production requirements.
• Liaise directly with clients when required.
