Mechanical Engineer

My client in the manufacturing industry based in Boksburg is looking for a Mechanical Engineer . The ideal candidate should come from a rubber manufacturing or similar industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Run the engineering team
• Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods in the Section of Calendaring, Belt building, Vulcanizing Press, Final Finish and Utilities
• Cost saving project implementation
• Routine maintenance, fault finding, breakdown diagnostics
• Improve health and safety standards
• Making MIS reports daily, weekly and monthly

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Relevant Mechanical Engineering Qualification
• Rubber manufacturing industry experience
• Project Management
• Shutdowns
