Job Description
SUMMARY:
Lexdan Select is assisting an Engineering consultancy business with their search for a Mechanical Engineer. Based in Cape Town.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical building services and water/wastewater infrastructure systems.
- Manage projects from concept to completion, including contract administration.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and Bills of Quantities.
- Conduct site inspections, ensure quality control, and resolve technical issues.
- Act as the Engineer’s Representative during construction.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and the professional team.
- B.Eng / B.Sc(Eng) / B.Tech Eng in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
- 2–5 years postâgraduate
- Proven building services project experience
- AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Revit MEP (advantage)
