Job Description
**Job Overview**
APTIM is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to perform maintenance repair and construction mechanical engineering support as outlined in ISS Contract for the United States Army Garrison Redstone (USAG-R) Department of Public Works (DPW) with our partner AKIMA. The Mechanical Engineer will provide support to buildings & structures, roads and grounds, equipment, and utility systems of Redstone Arsenal operations. This position will need to be technically proficient on various computer systems and Maintenance Connection experience is a plus.
**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:**
+ Manage designs and orchestrate the planning, design, and phased scheduling of assigned projects.
+ Coordinates and provides technical consultation with other engineering functions such as but not limited to, Electrical, Energy, Environmental, Civil, appropriate managers, supervisors, and maintenance personnel.
