Mechanical Engineer I - R&D

**Job Description:**

The **Mechanical Engineer I** will primarily support R&D efforts by assisting with product testing, validation, and implementation of design changes to enhance performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, this role contributes to both sustaining and new product development projects, provides technical support for existing products, and ensures accurate documentation of testing and design updates. The position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, participation in continuous improvement initiatives, and adherence to quality and safety standards, while contributing to the successful execution of engineering projects and business objectives.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Support engineers with sustaining projects by executing product testing / characterization and supporting change implementation to optimized production functionality and manufacturability.
