About Hex Hex is building the infrastructure for on‑demand aerial data. We design and manufacture drone‑in‑a‑box systems that automate repetitive drone operations, taking humans out of the loop so the people who depend on aerial data can move faster. The Role As a Mechanical Engineer on the Hardware team at Hex, you’ll own critical parts of the large mechanical assemblies that make our dock products work, from actuators and pressure‑formed enclosures to production readiness. You’ll design, prototype, and test complex mechanical components, drive DFA and DFM decisions, and ship hardware that operates unattended in the field. Most of our design work lives in Fusion 360.
