Job Description
This 3rd Shift Mechanical Technician position will be located at Howmet Whitehall Casting. Primary responsibilities will include:
+ Assist Facility Engineers with completion of capital projects
+ Install, move, or modify plant equipment
+ Procurement of repair parts, spare parts, or raw materials as needed
+ Update or create new schematics and drawings
+ Provide technical assistance to maintenance staff for repairs and modifications
+ Create and implement preventative maintenance and repair procedures
Required Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
+ Minimum of five (5) years of hands‑on experience in a mechanical or maintenance‑focused environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Associates degree in a technical discipline or completion of a registered apprenticeship program
+ Experience in maintenance, construction, HVAC, equipment installati...
