Mechanical Technician – ECAL Upgrade Specialist

CERN is looking for a Mechanical Technician in Geneva to contribute to the upgrade of the electromagnetic calorimeter (ECAL) for the CMS detector at LHC. You will collaborate closely with ECAL collaborators and the CMS technical team.

The ideal candidate will provide mechanical support, handle fragile equipment, and coordinate logistics. Candidates should possess a Higher Technical Diploma or equivalent experience in Mechanics or related fields. Knowledge of cooling systems and logistic coordination is essential.
