Job Description

The Role
You will be responsible for the precise assembly of mechanical parts, products, and special-purpose machines using a variety of tools and equipment. Working from production orders, assembly drawings, and technical specifications, you will ensure high-quality manufacturing to meet customer requirements.

Key Duties
Assemble and build special-purpose machines, mechanical and pneumatic grips, and other precise instruments, including fitting wiring looms and electronic displays.
Operate pillar drills, manual lathes, and other toolroom equipment with competence. Complete all required paperwork and documentation, including timesheets and work orders.
Maintain and organise tooling, ensuring it remains in good working order. Assist with the annual stock count.
Keep workstations and surrounding areas clean and tidy.
Collaborate with department managers and team members, communicating professionally and assisting colleagues as needed.
