Mechanical Technician

The Crane Maintenance Technician is responsible for general maintenance and mechanical repairs ensuring safe and efficient operation of deck crane equipment and machinery.

• Inspect, maintain and repair mechanical systems and components
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret diagrams
• Install new mechanical systems and components, Perform tests on mechanical components and systems
• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of mechanical systems

Qualifications:

• High school Diploma achievement, Heavy Equipment Servicing (Mechanical) NC II preferred
• At least 3 years experience in servicing/maintenance of Cranes and Heavy equipment, Shipboard deck crane experience is preferred.
• Work experience in vessel operations preferable.
