Job Description

Summary

To provide clinical assistance and support to nursing and medical staff. To provide clerical assistance and support to maintain smooth clinic/office functioning.

Organizational Relationship:

  • Directly responsible to Medical Assistant Resource Pool (MARP) Manager (MARP Float Pool). 
  • Assigned to a clinical area by the Medical Assistant Resource Pool (MARP) Manager (MARP Float Pool) who has overall scheduling responsibility for the employee.
  • Functional supervision for daily clinic responsibilities, patient care, guidance and instruction is the responsibility of the clinic or worksite manager or designate.

    • **This position involves travel to various locations within Ambulatory Care - Ann Arbor and the surrounding communities including but not limited to locations in Howell, Brighton, Ypsilanti, Canton, Livonia, Saline, and Chelsea.
