Medical Biller – A/R & Payment Poster
Baltimore, Maryland Pay From: $23.00 per hour
MUST: Experienced Medical Biller 2 plus years of experience as a Medical Biller Must have strong A/R experience Must have strong payment posting experience Must have EMR experience Must have experience with electronic and manual payment posting
DUTIES: Medical Biller – Payment Poster will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Accept payments and process billing statements
- Keep track of payment deposits from patients and insurance reconciling details
- Prepare payment batches
- Conduct audits for billing cycles
- Assess explanation of benefits (EOBs) from insurance companies
- Keep accurate billing records and report any discrepancies to accounting
