Medical Lab Technologist 1-Blood Bank

The role is responsible for independently conducting all laboratory procedures or under the supervision of seniors following operational rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develops and sustains competency to perform laboratory activities assigned to perform.
• Participates in training and orientation of new staff / trainee and ensuring their abidance to the rules and policies as applied and implemented in the Section / Department / Facility (as per requirement).
• Carries out other duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Senior Supervisor.
• Opens equipment in the correct manner including, maintenance, calibration, QC, proper recording, troubleshooting and inform Supervisor of any malfunction.
• Drafts and participate in writing SOP.
