Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Lab Technologist to provide accurate and timely interpretive and diagnostic specimen testing and reporting. You will contribute to patient well‑being and participate in teaching and continuous improvement.
Job Details
- Status: Temporary Full Time (greater than 12 months)
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Shift: Afternoon Shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, includes Saturdays and Sundays
- Discipline: Hematology
- Number of positions: 1
- Start date: ASAP
- Union: OPSEU LAB collective agreement
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing.
- Prepare and process samples, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
- Perform, interpret and release results, while ensuring the confidentiality of patient information.
