About the Role
The Regional Cancer Treatment Service (RCTS) based at MidCentral provides medical oncology, radiation oncology and clinical haematology services to the MidCentral, Hawkes Bay, Wairarapa, Whanganui, and Taranaki Districts.
We have a brand new cancer treatment facility opening later this year and are seeking to appoint Medical Oncologists for the Regional Cancer Treatment Service based in the Taranaki or Hawkes Bay regions.
Our RCTS provides systemic therapy with facilities for inpatient care in Palmerston North and outpatient treatment in Palmerston North, Hawkes Bay and Taranaki. We currently have a team based in Palmerston North and Hawkes Bay and we are keen to grow our service across the region. There is the opportunity to develop tumour focused practice, with collegial support managing a range of solid tumours.
