Medical Scientific Liaison (Xico)

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field‐based member of the Medical Affairs group that engages clinicians, KOLs, and investigators across the Cardiometabolic therapeutic area.Key ResponsibilitiesExchange peer‐to‐peer medical and scientific information with customers and internal partners.Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of therapeutic areas, major studies, product information, and clinical data.Provide assistance on projects in the therapeutic area including medical affairs, CMEs, advisory boards, KOL interactions, scientific reviews, investigator meetings, etc.Advise medical management on local issues, opportunities, and action plans.Share medical information with national/regional KOLs about scientific information, clinical guidelines, product attributes, and outcomes studies.Build and maintain advanced disease, product, and therapy knowledge with relevant collaborators.Serve as the point of contact for investigators seeking investigator‐initiated study (IIR) support and oversee...
