Mental Health and Substance Use Counselling and Treatment Clinician (Kamloops)

A permanent full‑time opportunity exists for a Mental Health Counselling and Treatment Clinician with the Lansdowne Mental Health Centre in Kamloops, B.C. Interior Health and partner agencies provide a range of mental health and substance use services for all ages. What we are looking for

We are seeking a self‑directed candidate with past and/or current counselling experience, group facilitation experience, good working knowledge of mental health and substance use, and general competency in concurrent disorders. The successful candidate will have extensive understanding of Indigenous protocols and health needs, including the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of the client, their family and community. Knowledge of Indigenous communities and resources, ideally in the Thompson area, is also desired.
